KBC Mesh2HT: Wireless Ethernet Dual Redundant Ring, 5GHz, PoE/non-PoE, Up to 230Mbps

The Mesh2HT is a high throughput, dual-radio, redundant ring mesh networking product that operates in the licence-free 5GHz band. The system is IEEE 802.11a/n compliant, has a Gigabit port and will support 230Mbps+ throughput. Mesh2HT can be used to build redundant networks by connecting multiple nodes to one another in a ring configuration. Alternatively, the units can be used to build a wireless relay to overcome obstacles in a wireless transmission path. Mesh2HT is compatible with WES2HT & WESII, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint, so it can be used in mixed systems.

Mesh2HT is IEEE802.3af compliant but is also supplied with a power injection module for applications where PoE is not available. The units are available in wall-mount or pole -mount configurations and are supplied with omni-directional antennas. Higher gain directional, patch antenaas (PAT5M) are also available.

Mesh2HT provides connectivity for a wide range of Ethernet devices such as megapixel/HD cameras, DVRs, encoders/decoders and web servers. A secure encryption method is used to prevent unauthorised access to the system.
