The MeshII is a dual radio, redundant ring mesh unit that operates in the licence-free 5GHz band. The system is IEEE802.11a/n compliant and will support throughput of up to 99Mbps. MeshII can be used to build redundant networks by connecting multiple nodes to one another in a ring configuration. Alternatively, the units can be used to build a wireless relay to overcome obstacles in a wireless transmission path. MeshII is compatible with WESII, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint, so it can be used in mixed systems.

MeshII is IEEE802.3af PoE compliant but is also supplied with a power injection module for applications where PoE is not available. The units can be wall-mounted or pole-mounted and are supplied with omni-directional antennas. Higher gain directional, patch antennas (PAT5M) are also available.

MeshII provides connectivity for a wide range of Ethernet devices such as megapixel/HD cameras, DVRs, encoders/decoders and web servers. A secure encryption method is used to prevent unauthorised access to the system.
